As a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Watering Seeds Organization (WSO) strives to continually grow its outreach in the community and across the country.  WSO is dedicated to empowering our Wounded Warriors and challenged civilians through adaptive sports, fitness, rehabilitation and wellness programs, as well as live entertainment and educational events. 

Sadly, we are losing over 22 veterans per day due to suicide and self-inflicted wounds because of the challenges they face during their reintegration into civilian life.  Many become displaced and depressed, consequently lacking hope and a desire to live.  Our mission is to unite our community and country through inclusive events, community clinics, and competitions so that our unsung heroes can enjoy the benefits of a healthier, more active and productive lifestyle.  Along with our strategic wellness partners, we are utilizing innovative, cutting edge modalities and technologies to provide the highest quality transitional care and support to improve lives while preventing suicides.  

We are excited to announce that on April 24, 2021, along with the NFLPA Houston Chapter, Huddle Up Foundation, and Matthew’s Hope Foundation, we will host our first annual “Ball for the Cause” Celebrity Charity Flag Football Game, to be held at the Houston Texans YMCA from 9:30a-12:00p. 

This all-inclusive sports event will feature flag football, as well as a wheelchair football game of Military Veterans versus NFL Players/Alumni. By creating a community of camaraderie that unites NFL athletes with Veterans, we are helping to heal the seen and unseen wounds of our warriors and are bridging the gap between the able-bodied and disabled communities through inclusion.

The event will raise awareness and funds for future events, clinics, and ongoing wellness programs for the wounded. We are seeking sponsorship support event related expenses for staff, food, beverage, equipment, hotels, tournament shirts, banners, and signage. In exchange for your monetary support, you will receive a customized sponsor package with branding benefits designed to create positive publicity and awareness that will enhance your profile in the community. Thank you in advance for your time and support. You are helping create a positive “change reaction” to provide hope and healing for our heroes.
